13 Friday Finds...

Happy Friday y'all! 

So here is what I have been up to lately..

I found these cute little dishes over at the this wonderful place I call 

Goodwill...(only .49 cents y'all)

I have tons of jewelry laying around and thought

 they would work great as some jewelry holders..

-Cleaned

-primed

-painted & sealed!

Now I have some cute little vanity jewelry holders!

When I finished I completely forgot I had left this little lonely white 

one out on my patio to dry..

I went ahead & used it as a stand...

Gorilla glue all the way baby!!

Hope you guys like!

I loved how they turned out & i'm seriously thinking about 

going and clearing

 out the shelf over at goodwill...hmmm

10 Fabulous Friday..with Rocks!

Alright guys, so I'm all about being cheap & finding great deals..

BUT never did i think being cheap would turn out this fabulous!

I was on the hunt for the perfect "P" to fit into my sons room.

(no luck)

Until I walked a few steps outside & it hit me..

ROCKS!

He loves rocks!!

No rummaging around town for this project!

We picked out the best rocks we could find, gave them a good wash...

 Grabbed some good'ole spray paint & painted away...

while that was drying

 I covered the back of my picture frame with burlap...

Grabbed the very dependable gorilla glue

& began gluing my rocks onto the glass.

 I am so happy with the outcome & so glad I did not go with the 

wooden cut-out "P" I was about to pick up at hobby lobby.

This fits right in with my little guys room!

11 Fabulous Friday Finds...

So I'm sure you know by now I am a hoarder of JUNK wonderful treasures..

This week I was so busy I had no time to be thrifting around town...

BUT to my surprise these were practically thrown at me.

My wonderful father decided to go up to Brady TX

 to help my little old grandma clean up some things around her house..

Can you believe she wanted my dad to haul all this junk to the junk yard!!!

Of course my dad knowing me so well brought it straight back here to me =)

There is so much more, (piled up in my kitchen along with all my other wonderful junk) but these are a few of my favorites..

1. Lamp... that needs a little re-vampi'nnn

2. Old cassette holder... I got big dreams for this baby

3.Wooden box... I'm not sure yet, but it's old so I love it =D

4.Vintage ironing table..This is what I'm most excited about!!!!

5. A weee'litt'ole wooden shlef/chair??...not to sure what it was used for,

but its pretty darn cool well at least I think so =0

So there ya have it my fabulous Friday junk!

4 Fabulous Friday Finds...

Happy Friday y'all!

We have a busy weekend ahead of us, but

 before all that I want to share my finds from this week..

So okay...

I know I have issues (my hubby reminds me all the time)

BIG issues..

but I can't help passing up awesome little deals..

it's hard..like real hard...

I know I'm running out of room & I'm out of control,

but it's not my fault I live down the road from a goodwill

or a yard sale happened to pop up down the road...

with that said I had to get my fix for the week ...

1.Glass containers $1.99

2. Vintage lantern $2.00

3. Glass cups =D $7.99(I had to they are so cute!)

4.Picture frames .50

Now for a good cleaning maybe a little 

makeover here & there & my little junk treasures are ready to go!

12 Fabulous Friday Finds

 Yay! Friday is here!!

 For us that means hubby is working from home so we

 I can pack up and get ready for our road trip up to 

Austin this weekend =D

Super Duper Excited!

We just looove Austin!!

While I take a break from packing 

I wanted to share some

So when I wasn't rummaging around town

 this is how our week pretty much went 

   play..play..play

A little certain someone is learning how to crawl..

So that means leg warmers all day.

 (that I made out of some really awesome socks) 

When he isn't trying to get into 

EVERYTHING 

he is being a dare devil and

 standing on things he shouldn't...

Oh, did I mention many..many..snack breaks? 

                    

All while being pretty entertained with big brother

giving hand puppet shows..

with markers that he sneakingly took.. 

& I got to finish a project...

I even got to sneak in a snack for myself... every now & then..

relaxed and lots of "Us" time

the BEST part is receiving little love notes at the most unexpected time..

& that is all folks!!
